An Alternative Payment Model (APM) is a payment approach that ties payments to the delivery of high-quality and cost-efficient care. APMs can apply to a specific clinical condition, a care episode, or a population. Attendees will gain an understanding of how APM models are designed and the pros and cons of potential APM approaches, including shared savings, bundled payments, and population-based payments.
